Venting about tech failures at home, the anxiety that comes with relying on always-on devices, and why offline hobbies still matter. I run through messy political headlines, media double standards, and a hard-earned view of what real leadership looks like.

• Dealing with heat, broken air con, and the stress of small problems stacking up
• Troubleshooting home security cameras, Wi‑Fi towers, and why tech “convenience” backfires
• Nostalgia for pre-streaming life and building offline entertainment with books, vinyl, and games
• Reacting to violent news and questioning how threats get framed and prioritized
• Calling out selective outrage in comedy, activism, and online culture
• Debating authenticity, masks, lizard people and why trust in public figures is thin
• Sharing military leadership lessons about backbone, ego, and protecting your people

Home Alone In The Heat

SPEAKER_01

You are listening to the objective jerk, and I am said jerk. What's going on?

SPEAKER_00

How is everybody? I got like a day to myself today. The uh the wife. First of all, real quick before I get to that though. So I got it's hot, right? It's hot in the in the Philippines, in the Pilippines right now. And it's hot, so I gotta have a fan on. And the AC, my split type has been down in my room forever now. It's taking those guys forever. They're trying to, I guess they're trying to fix it without having to replace the outer part. But I think we're just gonna have to buy a new one. Which kind of sucks, man. It's a Samsung, and how long have we had it? Well, I guess we've kind of had it for well, still what five years? That's not that long, right? Maybe I'm trying to think when we got it. No, we probably got it pretty early on, so maybe six. Anyway. But so the family's all out doing a thing. So I'm home alone. Yay! But I just got done messing with the I have a couple cameras

Security Cameras Down And Paranoia

SPEAKER_00

on my property, and yesterday they all went down. I I I think it must have had like a firmware update or something, but they didn't come back on.

SPEAKER_01

So I was like, what the crap?

SPEAKER_00

And I unplugged, you know, the one and it came back on. Great. And then the other one did not, it would not, and that's the one that's like further away from the house up front. So it's kind of weird, you know. Like we didn't have cameras here for a while, but I guess it's been about a year now since we started putting them up. And no problems before. It was cool having them, but then when they when I didn't have it, I was like kind of paranoid, like, oh crap, I can't see out there, you know. But I couldn't get it to work, and I was messing with it yesterday, and then this morning, uh, same thing. I did the like reset button, all kinds of crap, it would not work. And I'm just like, what the crap, man? So I go in and check, and our Wi-Fi tower, the one that's like the furthest end of the house that that camera connects to was down for some reason. So I was like, oh, so I had to, you know, go through and do all that kind of crap. So it's just, I mean, technology is great, but man, it is a freaking pain in the ass sometimes. Like, I get really I get really irritable and short fused with technology when computers aren't working, you

Missing The Pre-Streaming World

SPEAKER_00

reboot, you do the stuff and it's not working right, Bluetooth connections, you have to forget a device, and you know, it's like what I don't know, it's just like of all the greatness that technology, it's just fucking lame. Sometimes I just anybody ever watched those videos from like yearbook videos from the 90s, the 80s, or people that like took videos of where they used to live, you know, and you see the cars and the buildings and how things were. Man, it's great. It's just kind of you just don't know what you got till it's gone, you know. I miss those days. I hate I hate technology. I really do. You know, if for some reason, if something happened, technology was gone, it would suck at first, but I mean, music-wise would be her. I mean, I have films and movies and stuff like that, so I'd be able to watch some stuff. We'd be able to entertain ourselves that way. But you would go back to entertaining yourselves, you know. I'm like, I've been trying to start playing cribbage with my son, but I keep forgetting or getting whatever. Try to do some old stuff. Got this nice cribbage board, you know. But music though, I got rid of all my CD. I do have some vinyl, but not much, not enough to sustain me. So it's like I need to kind of start getting, you know, like that's not just, you know, preparing with guns and ammo and food and stuff like that. It's like you need to prepare for entertainment too, because you know, you won't be able to stream whatever song you want. Books and stuff. That's why I like having physical books. I can't read tablets anyway. So, but that's the only thing. As far as entertainment goes, I need to get I need to buy a few more some vinyl. I have a record player, I don't ever use it though. Because it's actually not made for 220 here, so I think I just need to get I don't know, I gotta figure it out. But anyway, lots of crap going on. I got some bullets here from a while ago, so it's gonna be old news, but I'm still gonna talk about it. I don't care. But the

Violence Headlines And Threat Priorities

SPEAKER_00

last thing I heard while just kind of getting ready or whatever was I mean, there was another shooting. I mean, they say like, oh, an assassination attempt at the White House. It's like it is, but it's not. Like, they didn't, I mean, they got further than a lot of people do, but you know, they weren't anywhere near Trump. I mean, you know, could have something happened and gotten ugly? Maybe, yeah, but it's just I wouldn't consider that assassination attempt. I would say more like an attempt on an attempt. I don't know. But and then supposedly FBI and them all busted Iranian little cell that were planning on killing or kidnapping Ivanka Trump? Like, what the hell? And the guy I was watching was like, he's like, how come, how come like professional, whatever, you know, sleeper cells, terrorists, whatever, they get caught, but not like the crooks guy or the guy that shot, you know, or attempted to almost got Trump at the golf course and stuff like that. And I'm like, well, for one thing, that makes me feel kind of better because that makes me okay, they're looking, they're watching the foreign terrorist groups, they're not watching you know, us our citizens, you know what I mean? I mean, they are, but you know, the fact that you know, they're catching like the real bad guys more easily than US citizens, I think that's a good thing, really. And then the crooks dude, or crooks, whatever, he he had help, so you can't, you know. But yeah, I think it's I would rather, you know, foreign terrorists get as opposed to just crazy citizens, you know what I mean? I mean, I don't want like a a domestic terrorist cell to get, you know, but and you know, that there's so many people and they're they're tracking so many different things. So I was like, yeah, there's some people that have mental issues and say some certain things, but they're like, eh, are they really they're not as big as a threat as say this group of whatever who actually supposedly have you know arms and you know all this kind of stuff. So it's like they they gotta pick their battles, basically. Pick the biggest threat, go for the biggest threats first. Do sometimes those little minuscule ones will, you know, get through. Yeah, you know, but I don't know. I just thought that was kind of a that wasn't a very good I understand what he's saying, kind of, but it was just like, yeah, that's kind of dumb. But I'll get back to that. Alright, I'm gonna go back. So the shooting and man, what was the last thing I heard? So the the mosque shooting,

Shooter Fallout And Public Apologies

SPEAKER_00

again, I did I did a podcast, but I didn't do a video. Like I did a follow-up to my previous. So if you watch only my videos, you didn't get the last, technically the last podcast I did, because I did it just audio.

SPEAKER_01

Right? Yeah, I think so.

SPEAKER_00

And it was just me talking about how kind of I was pretty off, pretty wrong about the shooters, because I guess they live streamed them taking themselves out and everything like that. And that was the thing that was like I thought was the weirdest. They were teenagers, this and that, and I was like, what? They get away, and then they I don't know, it just didn't seem right, but I guess that's what they did, anyway. The parents of one of them, though, I don't know if you saw this, they released letter or whatever, kind of apologizing, you know, to the victims for you know, but it was a long letter, and it was just filled with like crazy leftist talking points and and how they were more sad about the victims than their own son, which I mean I kind of I think I get what they were saying. Like when they said that, I was like, well, okay, I guess they're you know they're innocent, and he ended up not being. So I guess I understand kind of what they were trying to say, but still it was like I mean, as horrible as my children could end up being, I'm still not gonna be, you know, still gonna be sad that my child is no longer here, you know. But just some of the things that they said was just like ridiculous, I thought. It was just what? They just sound psycho, like far left liberal. Either the parents are just retardedly psycho or their lawyer was like just crazy. Oh, this is how you should do it. And and I think it's just because they're trying to not get sued and everything like that, but they should. Anyway, Walgreens are closing in Illinois, people are crying, but it's like this is kind of old news, but

Store Closures And Comedy Double Standards

SPEAKER_00

dude, you know, they're losing money. What do you expect? You know, it's just like like some of the people like when like a show gets canceled and they're all butthurt about it, but it's like, well, it didn't do good, nobody watched it, it didn't make money, so you cancel it. So it's like these people think like, well, there should still be a Walgreens in my neighborhood. And it's like, well, if people would quit stealing shit and whatever, I mean they could be, but it's like people are just stupid, man. Like, just excuse me.

SPEAKER_01

Like, come on. They I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

It's just people are retarded. That's what I should call my podcast. People are retarded. Let's see. So there was a roasting of Kevin Hart. Again, there's more stupid retardedness. You know, there were some jokes said about Charlie Kirk that I guess it really didn't it didn't land that well during the thing. I didn't watch it, but you know, of course, people who were conservative and stuff were upset. But then there was also a joke about George Floyd, you know, and you know, when when so the the Charlie Kirk thing came out first, and everybody's like, oh, it's just a joke, it's just a joke. And then the George Floyd came out, and then all of a sudden they're like, oh, and then BLM's like, we need to. I don't know, like they're it's like, what the fuck? The double standards with the left is just horrendous, man. I don't know. I just fucking that's I am I am finding myself pulling away. I am I maybe it doesn't seem like it. This is the only time I really think and talk about politics too much or at all. I'm slowly kind of pulling myself away, but man, dude. It's just it's so retarded. That's that's the the end of each sentence of mine. So retarded. But I think it's just because BLM's money's drying up, so they're trying to get more people to donate money so they can buy a bigger mansion. I don't know. So, next one, all the individuals involved in the in fraud are getting charged and or were charged and sentenced. There was the lady who was involved in the feeding the kids, kind of whatever. She got like 40 years, and she kind of was like, There's no way that tampon Tim and Im Mall and Lickabli stupid bitch didn't know, you know, so it's coming, it's it's like either you sucked at your job because you didn't know, or you knew, and you're a criminal. Which is it? Either way, you should not hold any kind of political position any longer. There is this next one. Next, you might start doing that. So there is a on Fox there was a like retired Navy guy talking, and on his throat, it looks like his mat like he's wearing a mask, and the the bottom of it's kind of coming up, and it does look like that, you know what I mean? Now I'm not like I even said something on on X gotten to a little bit of back and

Fraud Sentences And The Mask Question

SPEAKER_00

forth, nothing major, but and you know, guys like, oh, I worked in this and that, blah blah blah, so it's fine. It's like okay, but like give an example of it though, you know what I mean? Because I can understand that you know your mind plays tricks on you, your eyes, certain things will look a certain way, and and but it looks like exactly that. And when you look at some pictures and other videos of that person, they don't look exactly the same. So, you know, and people are like, oh my god, conspiracy lizard people. It's like, no, I don't think it's a lizard person or it's an alien. I think it's just some dude wearing a mask to look like this guy to put out some information that because people will believe what that person has to say. I'm not saying that's what it is, but I'm saying that's possible. And everybody's like, oh my gosh, I you know, it's a reflection for this and that. And I'm like, okay, well, give an example. Show something that of what you're talking about where it kind of looks like that, even if it's like close, okay. But it's like, dude, it looks weird as hell. And until you give like a good example of what it could be or what it is, I'm gonna say it's a mask. So you know, they make some realistic masks masks now. So I mean it's not that far-fetched that somebody would wear one to have you know some guy that people, you know, because just because I fall more right than left, I'm like center right. And it's kind of going back to more center because I'm just like, you know, but you know, this was on Fox or whatever. So it's like just because the left is straight up retarded, but all politicians suck. And the right is retarded too. So it's like it's not just because it was on Fox, oh no, it's fine, dude. It looks strange. It looks like a mask, it really does. So I don't know. I need to see some examples of something like it for me to okay, not just trust me, bro, it's not a mask.

SPEAKER_01

Whatever, bro. So Tulsi Gabbard is out as dang, what was her title? The I I I can't remember.

SPEAKER_00

But you know, her supposedly her husband has bone cancer, and you know, but then some people were saying that she was gonna get let go a while ago, and then it's like, oh, this is so bad for Trump and all this kind of stuff. But it's like, I mean, maybe she wasn't.

Tulsi Steps Down And Politicians Disappoint

SPEAKER_00

I don't think she did anything to the point of where she needed to get fired. I think that was kind of like whatever some people just hearsay crap, and I think it's just well, her husband has cancer, and it's just kind of like the timing just kind of happened, and you can't fault her for stepping down to help with her husband. So I think it's just kind of coincidental. I mean, maybe she wasn't happy, you know, but and maybe she was like almost, I mean, like maybe her husband getting bone cancer, like, oh my god, I mean, that sucks. But then she was like, well, at least I can stop doing this job or something. Who knows? Because, you know, you get people going in thinking they're gonna change the world, and they realize how how deep the swamp is, you know. Just like the the crap, the Republicans, the dipshit Republicans that decided to go on vacation instead of voting for the Save Act or whatever. You know what I mean? It's like, dude, come on. These people, if they they shouldn't get paid. They should only get paid when they pass bills or something, vote on something. Dude, politicians are straight up garbage all over the world. All of them, dude. Here, I don't know, in the states. I mean, here it seems like I'm I am exposed to local stuff more than I ever was in the States. Like, I can't remember ever meeting a politician, whether it's, you know, a city, whatever, town, mayor, whatever. You know what I mean? I don't remember meeting anybody or whatever, and since I've been here, I've met like tons. So it's kind of crazy. A lot of them seem nice, but I still don't trust them. Let's see, next. Candace Owens, man. That bitch is fucking getting crazy. I mean, I don't watch any of the stuff I don't really follow. I just, you know, I hear some stuff and see clips of some of her things, and like she's just it's like she's trying to be the female. I can never remember this dude's name. Who's the the conspiracy guy, InfoWars? I can never remember his name.

SPEAKER_01

Damn it. Scott,

Candace Owens And Online Grift Energy

SPEAKER_01

no. Al no. What the hell is his name?

SPEAKER_00

God, I can never remember his name. I always forget it. Anyway, it seems like Candace is trying to be the female version of her of him. Um, oh, I thought I almost had it, but nope. But some of but her, at least with him, he he ends up being right most of the time. Not every time, but but everything Candace Owens says is just straight up lie. Like, I don't know what the hell she's doing. I used to think she was cool because she was very smart and articulate, but she's kind of went off the deep end. I don't know what's going on with her. And then she has on Hunter Biden and had a talk with him and just listened listen to them talk about some crap, and it's just like, what are you oh my god. She's just she's out there, dude. I don't I mean, I don't think I ever subscribed to her or anything like that. Maybe I did at one time. I think I had a lot of like, you know, political YouTube pundits or whatever you call it at one time, but I got rid of a lot of them. I still have some, but so maybe I had her for a little bit, but that was a while ago. That was over a year ago, two years ago or something. But yeah, she's just went off. She's fucking psycho. What was the thing she said? They're talking about like it's just oh my god. I mean, it's not that I'm any better. You know, I give my opinions based off some stuff, but I don't, but I'm never like, oh, that was absolutely and just because I'm not given receipts, I'm not the proof. I talk about it. But most of the time it's just kind of how I perceive and whatever. And then if I'm wrong like that shooting, then I'll admit it or whatever. But she just doubles down, triples down, and just you know, and never okay, so why do you think that she never gives any kind of example at all? So it's like she's like me, but she's famous and has followers. I don't know. She just not plus it just seems like she's just not being honest with herself. Yeah, it kind of sucks because I remember the first when I first heard about her or something, you know, seeing her in the debate. And stuff, and I was like, oh man, she's pretty good. But yeah, I don't know. It's almost like I don't know. Like, did she get bought out? Did she get captured and brainwashed? Or you know what I mean? Like, what's going on? Is she wearing a mask? And it's just not really Candace Ozens anymore. Trying to hurt the right, all the talking heads of the right or whatever. I don't know. It's kind of crazy. Because she just went from, I mean, I guess she used to be liberal or something. But then she was, and you know, she might just be going with the flow, doing what's popular, whatever. Okay, I guess that makes sense. But it does seem kind of weird how she went from, you know, best friends with Charlie Kirk, loves Trump, conservative to Charlie Kirk was murdered by his wife, and Trump sucks. You know what I mean? And now she's going back to the liberal side. Like, what is going on? It's crazy. Anyway, so we talked about Ivanka briefly. I don't really know too much about it, other than it was like an Iranian sleeper cell. But so again, like the Trump. Another, you know, somebody shot at, you know, the White House or got in so far. They haven't released who that person was or whatever, but again, it's like the left. I mean, I haven't heard anything from them yet, but I'm sure it's gonna be like, oh, oh, this is you know, you have people either saying it's like fake, which okay, I can sort of understand seeing how, well, first people think the Butler assassination one was fake, and that was absolutely not. I mean, you watch all the live, you it's it's just not, sorry. But but then I can understand, like, because that helped, that was probably one of the biggest things that helped Trump win. So then everything else after that, it's like, oh, they're just trying to build get more sympathy or whatever. It's like, okay, I get that. I understand that argument, you know, on the golf course, maybe, but still, who's gonna, if it was set up. I mean, is it possible they found someone who's psycho enough and they and the handler instead of actually getting Trump, they're making him think he was gonna get Trump, and then only to bust him and because no one's gonna volunteer to go to life or prison for you know the the greater good. I don't know, maybe, maybe they it's like, hey, we'll get you out in like five years, and plus you're gonna get all kinds of money for your family or something. I don't know, maybe, but of any of the actual kind of violent aggressions towards Trump, that one's the only one that I think could be could have been like fake. The one with the dude. Because it could have been, you know, there wasn't anything, but there wasn't like nothing, no live feed, no witnesses really, other than the guy and the law enforcement and stuff like that. Because you got the dinner, you got cameras, there's multiple people, hundreds of people, and then now the White House thing, same thing. There's tons of people and witnesses. So to say these are fake, you're stupid. Sorry. And then, you know, they sit there and start like talking about the temperature, turning down the temperature and all this kind of crap. It's like none of this kind of crap happened with Biden or Obama. I mean, nobody in the last except what, Reagan, right? Now, presidents get you know, threats, most of them meaningless, all the time. Hundreds, hundreds, right? They get them all the time. Now,

Trump Hate And Leadership Lessons

SPEAKER_00

is there possible like some people got pretty close when Bush was president or Obama? Maybe, and they didn't report it, maybe but it's just the left has gone off the it's not only the left though, but it's the people in charge who do not control Trump. That's the problem. Is you have people in power who don't who Trump doesn't, you know, suck the dick of. You know what I mean? Obama sucked their dicks. The UN, whatever, Iran giving them money, you know, this and that. He played, he played ball that he played the corruption ball, you know. But Trump doesn't. Trump is like, fuck you. This is the right way, or this is whatever. And that's I've said it before, that's why we are in the situation that we are right now. Everybody loved Trump until he said he was vote he was gonna run. Then suddenly everybody who loved him hated him, and he was racist, and he's a Nazi, and all this kind of retarded shit, and they just keep perpetuating that, they keep, you know, saying all this crap, and then you have the retards who believe it, and you know, and then you just got this huge mess of everything that's going on right now, and it's like, you know, oh, but it's Trump. You know, just because Trump go back to your mommy, or you know, oh you're you know, he's yeah, he talks some shit, but he doesn't say we need to do violence and go after, you know, like the the Democrats do. He's a Nazi, he's a Nazi, he's a Nazi. We must end fascism. You know what I mean? Like they're just like, like, what do you what are you even talking about? And they're all being paid and told what to do by the sorrows of the world and all that shit. So it's you know, the hate towards Trump is not organic. It isn't it is made up. Because as soon as Trump, before Trump even announced that he was gonna run, the powers at B knew that he was sat down and and spoken to, like, hey, what's well, how's it gonna do? What you what whatever? You know, they got they kind of put their feelers out to see kind of what they could expect. And then when he was like, fuck you, I ain't doing that, this and that, immediately, as soon as he came down those escalators, Trump's a racist, Trump's this, Trump's that, Trump's that. I'm not saying Trump is perfect, but he's the kind of person you have to have. You gotta have people with an ego and a chip on their shoulder to be in charge. You know what I mean? I've said it before.

SPEAKER_01

The greatest leaders I've ever had were fucking assholes. You just You can't have Mr.

SPEAKER_00

Nice Guy doing whatever. You get, you know, I had let's see. So there was, I had a squad leader. I've I've talked about the platoon sergeant a lot, so I'm not gonna talk about that again. First time I was in Iraq, we had a platoon or a squad leader, an older guy. He was kind of on his way out, so he didn't care too much, but he still, he was like, no, fuck you, ain't doing that. You know what I mean? He took care of us. And, you know, he had to be hard ass. And then halfway through the deployment, or towards the end of it, we got a different, or no, it was he left, and so basically we had no one to take his place. So a team leader who was the highest ranking team leader had to cover down to be the squad leader, and he was a super nice guy, very fair and all this kind of stuff, but he got pushed over all the time, abused, you know, like he took everything up the ass, and and you know, because he was younger, whatever this and that, nice. It's like it sucked, you know. He was a nice guy, but like we we got a lot of shit because he wouldn't stand up for us, because he was kind of like, you know, he wasn't very assertive, he wasn't an ego, he wasn't, you know what I mean? He wasn't a bad leader, team leader, but like some people are just kind of they want that, you know, and he didn't. He wanted it eventually, you know. He probably wanted to work his way and get it, but which is kind of like me. That's kind of how like I'm not. I don't know. I don't want to be number one in charge. I like to be number two. I don't like to be Picard, I like to be Damn it, what was his name? Jonathan Franks or Frankes was his real name. Number two in generation next generation. Captain Picard. Oh, damn it, dude. Anyway, but that's how it, you know, someone else makes the ultimate decision, and I'm like, yes, that's a good decision, or no, that's a bad decision, or whatever, but I still support, and then everything else. You know, that's kind of how I always felt. I never wanted to be an officer. I liked being like an NCO, the first sergeant, command sergeant major, like that. That was more appealing to me than being an officer. And you know, because everybody's different. Some people are good leaders. Not everybody can be a leader.

SPEAKER_01

Biden is one of them.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, he was just horrible, dude, and he wasn't even really doing it. But it's just like all these people, oh my gosh, it's misogyny, and we gotta stop having all this misogyny and leadership. Like who somebody famous said something about it's like, dude, shut the fuck up. You're a fucking idiot. Anyway, that's it. Just want to talk about more retardness, that is the liberal mindset. And hope everybody's having a wonderful day. Stay off social media, get outside, and do some yard work. I know I gotta figure out something. Something to say. Anyway, all right. Thanks for hanging out. Appreciate your time, and God bless. All right, bye.
